Duane Lawrence at Word on the Street
Duane Lawrence will be reading in the Kids Tent at Word on the Street at 11:20am Sunday, September 25th. A three-day event dedicated to the promotion of literacy and reading, Word on the Street is a great opportunity for parents to encourage a passion for and love of reading in their kids. The Kids Tent is for children aged 6+ and is located on ‘Literacy Lane’ (Hamilton Street). Duane will be displaying illustrations from the second Stanley Park Tale, Sammy Squirrel and Rodney Raccoon to the Rescue, as well as introducing a new song to sing (always a hit!). Come check out Duane’s event and enjoy the festival! For more info, see Duane’s blog: http://duanelawrence.blogspot.com/ and visit the WOTS website: http://www.thewordonthestreet.ca/wots/vancouver.
