“On behalf of myself, the staff, volunteers, and the board-of-directors I would like to welcome you to the 26th annual Word Vancouver literary festival. We have moved to an online format for 2020 and continue to offer our programming for free. We are grateful to bring readers and writers together to share and celebrate the power of words. It is through these shared stories, fictional accounts, poems, tall tales, picture books, and discussions where we all can find solace, resiliency, creativity, and hope. Spend some time with us online this September and discover some new favourite books and authors.”
