Two Letters in Support of Graeme McCreath
The B.C. Human Right Tribunal ruled in October that taxi companies can refuse service to blind individuals with guide dogs.
Needless to say, the reaction from the blind community has been one of dismay.
The case was launched by Graeme McCreath, the author of The Politics of Blindness, who was denied service by a cab driver following an evening at a Victoria restaurant in 2014.
Two letters, in The Vancouver Sun and The Victoria Times Colonist, have come out this week in support of Graeme and his cause.
