1) 'Super book!'

2) 'I have just recently purchased this book for my five year old and three year old boys. I am a keen yogi myself and practice a lot in the house. The boys were always very keen to join in with my practice and ask lots of questions about what I am doing. This lovely book is an ideal way for them to have their own fun practice either separately or alongside me as I practice. My five year old especially is getting a great deal out of yoga and wants to practice more than me! And has his favourite yoga positions! Thanks A Yoga Jungle!'

3) 'Lovely book which both my children aged 4 and 2 love. The illustration's are very easy for them to copy the yoga postures and they love pretending to be the animals in the book. It's a lovely way to have some calm time before bed for children and parents!'

5.0 out of 5 stars A Joy to Read!!, By Kaura

Beautifully written and illustrated, demonstrating the integration of nature, people and animals in a colourful, flowing way that children would enjoy!
I love this book! As a mom and preschool teacher, I love the illustrations and simple yet engaging text that builds descriptive vocabulary, encouraging children to pretend and imagine and become each form they see on their Jungle walk.
Both the yoga poses and breathing strategies that are offered and explained in "The Notes for Parents" are useful and provide great tips for reading and engaging children in the story.
I like to use this book as a "decompression time" for my kiddoes...they like pretending to be animals, it encourages relaxation and self - calming strategies through breathing, and after we run through the poses one more time, most kids (more often than not) are not only more calm, but more focussed, and friendly towards others in class. Highly recommended for both home and school!

This book is a lot of fun and beautifully illustrated. I teach kids yoga and used this book as a guide (there are great and easy to follow posture descriptions in the back). The perfect book to add to the collection of a parent, yoga teacher and/or student.
