Dead Fish and Fat Cats author Eric Wickham is now back in Australia but will return to Vancouver in April. While he was in Vancouver, Eric was interviewed on a number of radio and television stations across North America and made a successful appearance at Fish Expo in Seattle.
Eric appeared on CHTV, a Victoria based television station, KVOS, a Bellingham based broadcaster and TVW, an Olympia based public affairs broadcaster. In addition, he appeared on Bill Good’s radio show on CKNW in Vancouver and The Fisheries Hour on CBC Radio in St. John’s, Newfoundland. A national CBC Television show in St. John’s has also expressed a desire to interview Eric in the summer.
Dead Fish and Fat Cats has received international exposure in print. In fact, the book has been mentioned and reviewed in Munich, Germany, Anchorage, Alaska, Ballard, Washington, Portland, Maine, Kamloops, B.C. and Maple Ridge, B.C. Dead Fish and Fat Cats recently received a glowing review in North America’s largest fishing magazine, National Fisherman (www.nationalfisherman.com). In addition, the book received an excellent review in Fisherman Life, which is based in Coquitlam. Also, the San Francisco based Institute for Fisheries Resources mentioned Dead Fish in its fishlinks e-mail newsletter which goes out to 5,000 West Coast fishermen.
Dead Fish and Fat Cats is scheduled to be reviewed in upcoming editions of Atlantic Fisherman in Halifax, Alaska Fisherman in Seattle, Island Fisherman in Victoria, The Moncton Times and Transcript in New Brunswick and the Courier Island Review in Campbell River, B.C.
